WHERE ART REMAINS.
In an era overwhelmed by ephemeral social feeds and synthetic digital generations, D-ARTIST exists as a permanent sanctuary for human creators working with physical pigment, graphite, charcoal, and linen.
Social algorithms were not built for traditional mastery.
A traditional painting or meticulous pencil study takes weeks, sometimes months, of patient discipline to complete. When posted to standard social platforms, it is consumed in two seconds, buried within hours by algorithmic feeds, and scattered across disorganized channels.
Traditional artists do not need more fleeting likes. They need a permanent institutional archive, a clean verified portfolio URL at dartist.lk/yourname, and a dedicated space where serious collectors and institutions can discover their life's work.
The Four Core Pillars
100% Traditional Media
Exclusively human-created artwork: pencil, graphite, charcoal, watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, ink, and traditional illustration. Zero AI-generated or digital creations are permitted on the platform.
Permanent Artist Portfolios
Every verified artist receives a clean address at dartist.lk/username with their complete portfolio, curated series, biography, physical specifications, and exhibition history.
Physical Process Verification
Every portfolio undergoes rigorous manual review. Artists submit work-in-progress photographs, hand-signatures, and medium documentation before earning the Verified Traditional Artist mark.
Direct Collector Inquiries
We charge 0% commission on traditional artwork transactions. Patrons and galleries connect directly with artists via WhatsApp, studio email, or private inquiry.
How We Verify Traditional Artists
Our curation team reviews every application to ensure physical authenticity. Artists provide evidence of their physical process:
- Stage 1: Work-in-Progress Evidence — Preliminary pencil drafting, underpaintings, and physical medium staging.
- Stage 2: Signature & Hand Authentication — Verified artist signature matching on physical paper/canvas.
- Stage 3: Medium & Spec Review — Archival materials check (paper weight, pigment grade, canvas weave).
