Community Guidelines
D-ARTIST is a quiet sanctuary for human creative expression. We are committed to fostering a culture of mutual respect, technical appreciation, and safety for artists, collectors, and art lovers alike.
1. Respect for Artists and Artwork
Traditional artwork involves hours of intense physical concentration, trial, error, and personal vulnerability.
- Constructive Technical Dialogue: Thoughtful observations regarding lighting, composition, medium handling, or color harmony are welcome.
- Zero Mockery or Disparagement: Mean-spirited mockery, derogatory remarks about an artist's skill level, or sneering comments will be removed immediately.
- Honoring Artistic Heritage: Traditional artists come from diverse traditions, cultures, and self-taught backgrounds. We respect all honest creative journeys.
2. Zero Tolerance for Harassment & Hate Speech
We do not tolerate abusive behavior anywhere on D-ARTIST, including comments, profiles, reviews, or direct inquiries.
- No Harassment or Bullying: Stalking, targeted intimidation, continuous unwanted messaging, or personal attacks against any user are strictly prohibited.
- No Hate Speech: Content that attacks, demeans, or incites hatred based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age will result in immediate and permanent account suspension.
- No Threats or Violence: Threats of physical harm, self-harm encouragement, or illegal intimidation will be escalated to authorities where necessary.
3. Prohibited Spam & Commercial Solicitation
D-ARTIST is a space for art contemplation, not an open billboard for unsolicited commercial spam.
- No Promotional Comment Spam: Posting links to external crypto schemes, dropshipping stores, affiliate links, or unrelated websites in comments is strictly forbidden.
- No Coordinated Promotion: Automated accounts posting repetitive copy or emojis across multiple artworks will be detected and banned.
- No Unsolicited Inquiries: Inquiring about artwork merely to solicit unrelated commercial services or spam the artist via WhatsApp is an abuse of the order system.
4. Scams, Fraud & Deception
Integrity is paramount across our collector and artist relationships:
- No Phishing or Credential Theft: Attempting to harvest other users' passwords, personal details, or financial credentials will lead to immediate permanent ban and IP blacklisting.
- No Fake Orders: Placing frivolous or fraudulent acquisition requests to harass an artist or tie up artwork availability is considered platform sabotage.
- No Impersonation: Posing as another artist, a D-ARTIST administrator, a gallery representative, or a recognized institution is strictly prohibited.
5. Integrity of Engagement Metrics
We believe genuine appreciation cannot be bought or faked:
- No View, Like, or Follow Manipulation: The use of automated scripts, browser automation, third-party engagement services, or coordinated rings to artificially boost view counts, likes, or follows is forbidden.
- Fair Discovery: Discovery algorithms on D-ARTIST are calibrated to surface authentic quality and relevance. Attempting to game recommendation signals will result in algorithmic disqualification.
6. Stolen Content & Intellectual Property
Only post content that you own or have the explicit right to share:
- Do not upload images created by other people without authorization.
- Do not post images of private individuals without their consent.
- Respect copyright notices and trademark protections at all times.
