Terms of Service

By visiting, registering an account on, or using D-ARTIST (accessible at dartist.lk, including all subdomains and related services), you enter into a legally binding agreement with D-ARTIST. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease accessing or using the platform.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on D-ARTIST. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You must provide truthful, current, and accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure.

You are solely responsible for all activities conducted through your account. You agree not to share your account credentials, bypass authentication protocols, or use another person's account without authorization. You must notify us immediately at support@dartist.lk if you suspect any breach of account security.

Artist accounts are specialized accounts granted to creators who have successfully completed the D-ARTIST verification process. Verified artists are permitted to publish physical artwork, manage curated collections, configure studio contact methods, and access the Artist Studio Workspace.

Artist verification requires the submission of physical authenticity evidence, including work-in-progress (WIP) documentation, substrate information, and a matching hand-signature photo. Applications are reviewed manually by the D-ARTIST curation team and may be Approved or Rejected at our curatorial discretion. Verification does not guarantee future sales or commercial success.

When submitting artwork to D-ARTIST, artists must provide truthful, accurate technical specifications, including medium, dimensions, materials, creation year, and availability. Images uploaded must be clear, well-lit, and accurately reflect the physical artwork without deceptive digital enhancements.

D-ARTIST does not claim ownership of your artwork. You retain 100% of your copyright, title, and intellectual property rights in and to your original works. By uploading artwork to D-ARTIST, you grant D-ARTIST a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license solely to host, display, format, and promote your work on the platform and its official channels.

You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary rights and permissions for any content you upload. You must not upload stolen art, plagiarized works, or unlicensed photographic reproductions. Copyright infringement complaints will be investigated promptly pursuant to our Copyright Policy.

D-ARTIST is dedicated exclusively to human-created physical art. You agree not to upload, publish, or misrepresent AI-generated, synthetically created, or digital tablet artwork as traditional physical work. D-ARTIST reserves the right to reject, remove, or delist any artwork that fails to satisfy human-creation standards.

Users may post comments and reviews on public artwork pages. All community contributions must comply with our Community Guidelines. You are solely responsible for the content of your comments, and D-ARTIST reserves the right to remove any comment deemed hostile, offensive, or inappropriate.

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the platform; (b) probe or test the vulnerability of our systems; (c) introduce viruses, malware, or malicious code; (d) use automated scrapers without written consent; or (e) use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.

You must not post unsolicited advertising, promotional links, or repetitive spam in comments, bios, or artwork listings. The use of bots, click-farms, vote-trading networks, or automated scripts to artificially manipulate view counts, likes, or follows is strictly prohibited.

You may not impersonate any person, artist, entity, or D-ARTIST team member, nor misrepresent your affiliation with any institution or art club. Reserving handles or usernames corresponding to third-party trademarks or public figures in bad faith is prohibited.

We have zero tolerance for hate speech, harassment, bullying, stalking, intimidation, threats of violence, or defamatory conduct. Violators will face immediate account termination without prior notice.

D-ARTIST maintains full curatorial and editorial discretion over content published on the platform. Our team reserves the right to review, monitor, and investigate all user activities, applications, and uploaded media to ensure adherence to our platform rules.

D-ARTIST reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove, unpublish, or restrict access to any artwork, collection, comment, or profile that violates these Terms, our Guidelines, or applicable laws, without liability to the user.

D-ARTIST may suspend or terminate your account at any time for material breach of these Terms, non-compliance with curatorial guidelines, fraudulent activity, or legal compliance. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@dartist.lk.

D-ARTIST facilitates discovery and logs acquisition requests. D-ARTIST is not an online store, payment processor, escrow agent, or party to transactions between collectors and artists. Communications and agreements regarding pricing, payment methods, framing, packaging, insurance, and delivery occur directly between the buyer and the artist via WhatsApp or email. D-ARTIST disclaims all liability arising from private transactions or shipping disputes between users.

The platform relies on third-party infrastructure, including Google Firebase, Cloudflare, Resend, and Meta's WhatsApp. Your use of external communication links (such as WhatsApp) is governed by the respective third party's terms and privacy policies.

D-ARTIST is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, and we may perform maintenance or experience temporary downtime without liability.

We continuously enhance and evolve D-ARTIST. We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue features, tools, or services at any time with or without prior notice.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When changes occur, the updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of D-ARTIST following changes constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms.
