What D-ARTIST Aims to Do
D-ARTIST was not created to replicate commercial social networks or build another advertising machine. Our daily purpose is focused on six specific objectives:
Bring Artists Together
Traditional artists often work in quiet isolation. We provide a shared community where creators from different backgrounds, mediums, and stages of experience can connect, converse, and learn from one another.
Give Artists a Dedicated Place to Build
Every verified creator receives a permanent, clean profile at dartist.lk/username. It serves as their public portfolio, complete with high-resolution imagery, biographical notes, and medium archives.
Help Artists Showcase Their Real Work
Physical art demands specific details: physical dimensions, paper weight, pigment type, framing status, and work-in-progress authenticity. We build interfaces specifically calibrated for traditional artwork specifications.
Help People Discover Genuine Artwork
Art lovers and collectors should not have to sift through unrelated posts to discover exceptional painters and sketchers. D-ARTIST offers dedicated categorizations by medium — watercolor, oil, graphite, charcoal, acrylic, pastel, ink, and handmade art.
Create Real Opportunities for Acquisition
We connect creators with potential buyers, patrons, and collectors. We do not charge sales commissions or erect artificial paywalls. Our goal is to open honest communication lines so artists can receive direct orders.

Core Philosophy: Why Art Must Not Disappear
Throughout human history, art has recorded what it felt like to be alive in a specific time and place. A physical stroke of graphite, the wet-in-wet blend of mineral watercolor, or the textured impasto of oil on linen carries something synthetic code can never manufacture: the human touch.
