How D-ARTIST Works
A dedicated platform built specifically for art. Discover the complete flow connecting traditional artists, human-crafted pieces, discovery algorithms, art lovers, and direct collector acquisitions.
The Three Groups Behind D-ARTIST
Unlike general social media where content types are mixed together indiscriminately, D-ARTIST is engineered for three primary groups:
Artists
Anyone who creates physical, traditional artwork. From emerging students to lifelong masters, creators can build a permanent portfolio, tell their story, and gain visibility. "If you can create art, you can belong here."
Art Lovers
People who appreciate the discipline of fine art. Members can explore exhibitions, follow their favorite creators, save pieces to personal curation lists, and leave thoughtful comments.
Collectors
Patrons and buyers seeking original, human-crafted pieces. Collectors inspect physical specifications, verify artist provenance, and initiate direct acquisitions with zero intermediary commission fees.
Step-by-Step Platform Lifecycle
Join as a Member
Anyone can register a free account using email or Google Authentication. Members select their preferred mediums (e.g. Charcoal, Watercolor, Oil, Graphite) and receive a personalized discovery stream.
Artist Application & Manual Verification
To protect traditional craft, all artists undergo manual curatorial review before publishing portfolios. Creators submit an inaugural piece with physical authenticity evidence: work-in-progress (WIP) stages, paper/canvas documentation, and a matching hand-signature.
Artist Studio & Portfolio Curation
Approved artists unlock the Artist Studio Workspace. Here they upload high-resolution artwork photographs, specify precise dimensions and materials, certify hand-crafted provenance, and organize pieces into curated public collections.
Clean Discovery & Community Engagement
Published works enter the public gallery and medium archives. Users explore art via full-text search, discipline filters, and curated exhibitions. Members can save favorites, follow artists, and engage in civil, respectful comment discussions.
Direct Inquiries & Order Connections
When a collector wants to acquire an artwork, they select "Order Art". The system records the official acquisition request in our database and generates a tracking ID. The buyer is then connected directly with the artist via WhatsApp or Studio Email to finalize delivery and payment. D-ARTIST takes 0% commission.
